Sharps Cave is located in the Big Spring Fork valley near Slatyfork, West Virginia. It has over 4 miles of surveyed passages, and is very popular with recreational cavers, youth groups and local residents. Of the approximately 4,300 caves in West Virginia, a distinguished 200 are termed significant by the West Virginia Speleological Society—and Sharps Cave is among these special caves due to its length and its unique biological, geological, historical, hydrological, and recreational value. Indeed, the image above of Sharps Waterfall illustrates just how special Sharps Cave is.
This walk-through tour of Sharps Cave features 37 slides that you can view using the right and left arrows and/or slide numbers above.
